What are some good spots for staging a proposal and photoshoot?
Answer
Yeah. So, Watkins Photography 100% does offer engagement and proposal shoots and even like behind the-scenes video stuff. We've got a few different situations that we can set up as far as gear go to get like a hidden mic or something like that. Like if a dude really wanted to go full ham and be like super spy and really surprise his girl and then have the full thing with the audio and the video after the whole thing was over, we can do that. We've got some good telephoto stuff. We've got good small mics that you can easily hide.
And we do obviously help anybody with if you're like, "Oh, I don't know where to go. I don't know what the plan should be. I don't blah blah blah." Then we help people out, come up with a good idea. And then obviously we hang out in a weird creepy hidden place and we capture all the magic.
Summary
When discussing recommendations for proposal locations, John Watkins advised that there is no one-size-fits-all answer, suggesting that the best location depends on the couple's preferences and where they live, whether in the city or the country. John Watkins emphasized that the location could be anything from a mountaintop, beach, or forest to a place where the couple first met, stressing that the choice should reflect what the couple wants (00:04:09).
