How do I pay you? Do I have to give you cash, or pay with PayPal/Venmo?

Absolutely not! You can quickly and easily pay though my website. I’ll send you a proposal and contract once we agree on the services you want, you digitally sign the contract, and then you can pay online via credit/debit card.

How much do I have to pay to reserve a session? How far in advance do I have to book?

You can request to reserve you session for 50% of whatever the session will cost.

Most clients pay in full in one payment. All payments are due before the session.

It’s best if you pay for the reservation at least a week in advance. That way I can make sure I can be available for that time. I can book with less notice, but a week or more of notice is best.

Do I have to pay in full before the session? Are there payment plans available?

Yes.

You can pay a 50% retainer to reserve the session. Payment plans are available. I’m more than happy to set up a recurring payment plan if a client requests it. We can work out an automatic payment plan that will withdraw a specific amount on a specific day every month until your balance is paid.

Are you willing to travel for a photo session, or do I have to come to you?

I’m more than happy to come to you. I’m located in Mukilteo, and am more than happy to travel if needed. There will be additional fees for travel.

How do I receive my images? Do I have to come get them?

Absolutely not! All images will be delivered quickly and easily to you via the internet. I’ll send you a link to the online gallery and you’ll be able to access, download, and even order physical prints or wall art of your images online. You can pay via credit card or with PayPal one click.

How long will it take for me to get my pictures?

That depends on how many pictures you choose. For my Standard, Silver, and Gold packages, the pics would be delivered in as little as 72 hours. All proofs are delivered in an online gallery. I’ll send you a link to the gallery, then you’ll go through all the proofs and pick your favorites, I’ll edit all your favorites, and then remove all the pictures you didn’t choose. Then you can download and share all your great pictures!

How long will my pictures be available for download after they’re uploaded to your online gallery?

Your images will be available for up to 30 days after they are uploaded. After that they will be deleted from the gallery. I only have so much space the gallery website to keep images, so I have to delete old images as I upload new ones. So you need to make sure and download all the images you want within 1 month of them being available. You’ll receive an automated email before your gallery is deleted.

Why am I being charged sales tax? I’m not receiving any physical product. Why would I have to pay tax?

The state of Washington charges photography businesses tax on their services even if there is no physical product delivered. Click this LINK to be taken to the Washington State Department of Revenue’s website regarding tax on photography services.

Do you only offer the services listed on your Pricing Page, or can I request another kind of photo session?

I’m more than happy to cater a session specifically to your needs. Just because your type of photo session isn’t listed doesn’t mean I can’t do it, so feel free to inquire if you have any questions!

Will you offer a discount on my session?

I don’t generally offer discounts unless it’s for a specific promotion I’m running. However, you can take advantage of special discounts by subscribing to the Watkins Photography Mailing list below.
